Marion Knox is a life-long dance amateur. Smitten at a tender age in London by Swan Lake with Fonteyn and Nureyev, she went on to study with Pola Nirenska in Washington DC and with Alwin Nicholais in New York City. She performed with the American Mime Theater for a number of years before firmly taking her seat in the audience. Marion will be posting informal responses to Bates Dance Festival performances. It is her hope that a conversation among our dance audience will ensue.
