Alissa Horowitz is a dancer and teaching artist working with kids and teens in Brooklyn and Manhattan. She has performed extensively throughout New England, and currently studies and performs with Barbara Mahler. Alissa has also been the dance curator and writer for Art+Culture, as well as an assistant dance publicist. She graduated Bates College cum laude in 2008 with a BA in Politics and the Arts, and Dance. This is her third year at the Bates Dance Festival.
